Bike ABQ invites avid cyclists and bike-curious alike to its Bike & Babble event at Tiguex Park from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, May 10. The event will lead into a group ride along the proposed Rail Trail.
Bike & Babble is a gathering of bike clubs in the Albuquerque metro area that host group rides and other bike-related events. The clubs consist of people who ride leisurely or who are training for bigger rides and races. Bike & Babble takes place on May 10th at Tiguex Park.
The event showcases the diversity of the cycling world, allowing participants to find their people.
This event is for people who are interested in riding bikes, finding community, or just seeing what the bike world in Albuquerque has to offer. From 10am-12pm, participants can meet the different bike clubs and learn about what form of riding they do. From 12pm-1pm, participants will be joined by Rail Trail employees who will lead a ride from Tiguex Park through the proposed Rail Trail route.
