The public will have a chance this week responsible for evaluating whether the Albuquerque Police Department is following the requirements of an agreement to reform the department.

That progress report will be drawn up and made available to the public sometime this month, according to the city attorney.

The settlement agreement also requires regular public updates about the reform process that is expected to take at least three more years.
