TradiSon is the house band at Havana鈥檚 La Bodeguita del Medio restaurant, famous for its mojitos and its storied clientele, including Ernest Hemingway and Pablo Neruda. They play the style of Cuban music known as 鈥榮on鈥� - a traditional style that combines Afro-Cuban rhythms with Spanish melodies. TradiSon consists of a singer, a stand-up bass player, a percussionist, and two guitarists playing the small Cuban guitar or 鈥榯res,鈥� They performed for the first time in the United States at the 2010 Santa Fe International Folk Art Market.
