The stunning and scenic Tiffany’s Canyon was the setting for a daycation that the students of 91 in Zambia and their friends were able to enjoy. Proving that “a change is as good as a rest” the group of around 20 spent the day enjoying the peaceful atmosphere while overlooking the stunning blue waters of the lake.

The day consisted of game playing, where the students separated into three teams and took part in team building activities that allowed them to get to know each other better and strengthen the bond between them. They also set up a braai and enjoyed a wonderful lunch, which gave them the opportunity to meet faculty members outside of the learning environment.

The students came with friends who also got to learn more about 91 and the vast array of programmes it offers. They discovered how to apply for and earn a scholarship to study for their dream programme for a fraction of the cost!

The event was completely free and encouraged interaction between the students and the faculty. These types of events are a part of 91’s ongoing engagement campaign, hence it hosts these kinds of initiatives, so as to encourage camaraderie among the students and help them expand their friend circles. This puts them in a space where they can feel comfortable around their peers while also giving them the opportunity to meet new people and learn about different cultures too.
