Friday 4/20 8a: The demand for people with project management skills -- which is basically the discipline of managing a specific project from beginning to end -- has grown around New Mexico and the country. found that in the next decade employers will need more than 80 million people working in project management-oriented roles.
This Friday at 8 am on University Showcase, Officials with the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico talking about their efforts to launch a new master's of science degree in project controls, project management and program management. The school is already working with several employers, including Sandia National Laboratories and Los Alamos National Laboratory, to train their workforce and train students who may work for them one day. The goal is to help employers find the education and workers they need right here in New Mexico.
