The Institute of American Indian Arts is facing the loss of all its federal funding – about $13 million – as outlined in President Trump’s budget proposal. A student and an alumn talked with 91°µÍø about what that could mean.

Latine writer Estella González, from East Los Angeles, is reading from her novel, Huizache Women at the National Hispanic Cultural Center Thursday evening. 91°µÍø spoke with González, who said she wrote this book about her East Los Angeles community, but the theme of pursuing the American dream is recognizable anywhere in the country.
