Threats against election officials are on this rise in the U.S., just before a crucial midterm election that will decide which political party has control of Congress. Those threats are now pushing New Mexico鈥檚 Secretary of State to conduct Tuesday's election 鈥渙ff-site鈥� for safety concerns.

Amid increasing threats against election workers since 2020, and concerns over potential interference in this year鈥檚 general election, New Mexico鈥檚 Secretary of State and Attorney General issued a voter information advisory on Thursday.
