Join Ranger Lily and Instructional Coordinator Rebekha for a guided tour of the permanent exhibition, "Bosque Redondo…A Place of Suffering…A Place of Survival." Participants will also experience a tour outdoors, visiting the site’s flock of Navajo Churro sheep and exploring the exterior grounds at Fort Sumner Historic Site. These tours teach people about the experiences of the Diné (Navajo) and Ndé (Mescalero Apache) who were forced to live at Bosque Redondo Indian Reservation in the 1860s, as well as stories of their resilience and hope through time. The tour is included with general admission of $7/adult and free for children 16 and younger and Native/Tribal Affiliations

Please bring a dish to share if you can, but it is not required. This is a sweet time to connect with our vecinos and grow our connections to form a stronger, safer community together.

The Rail Yards Market of Albuquerque operates on Sundays from 10am-2pm during the months of May-October. A non-profit run growers' market, originally established in 2014 by volunteers and neighborhood residents, celebrating all things local and at the heart of New Mexican culture. We are much more than your typical farmer's or grower's market; every Sunday you can peruse 100's of New Mexico's finest food, farm, artisan, and healing vendors, hear live musicians, and come away enriched from our educational and demonstration zones for kids and adults! Every Sunday is a different theme with different activities and vendors you wont want to miss. All located at The Rail Yards in the historic Barelas neighborhood in the heart of our City!

This is a national day of action to celebrate solar and NM’s oversize role in developing solar energy. Let's show the world our interest in renewable energy and solve the climate crisis!
