The IPCC welcomes Navajo filmmaker Ryan Begay of Sovereign Mind Productions for a screening and discussion of his film HONOR SONG

From the filmmaker: 鈥淐elebrating the long history and service of Native Americans in the United States military, Veterans of the Southwest share personal stories and perspectives of their military service and their cultural experience. Honor Song, serves to highlight the continuing dedication of service in the military; the particularly high level of representation of Native American females; and how the integration of cultures plays a role for the future.鈥�

The Downtown Growers' Market Gala is a night of celebration, community, and giving back! Guests will enjoy a memorable experience with a delicious three-course meal, a dessert bar, and live music from DJ Flo Fader.

Workshops with will give you the skills you need. Have a story to tell? There will be ample opportunity to share stories. On Saturday night, there will be a storytelling concert with three world-class storytellers. On Sunday morning, there will be a children/family program, followed by student storytellers. All this and food. Join us for a mid-eastern feast on Saturday and hear stories around the table. Friday night and Saturday morning services, plus our Sunday morning family program are free. The Annual Pueblo Gingerbread House Contest is a favorite holiday tradition at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. Children and adults are invited to enter a gingerbread house inspired by a Pueblo village, house, community church or historic building with prizes awarded in children鈥檚 and adult categories. This is an annual holiday event that is a unique way to share and enjoy Pueblo culture with your family.

Application Available: November 4th-December 19th

Submission Starting Date: November 18th

Gingerbread Display Dates: November 18th-January 4th

Judging open to visitors starting December 19th-January 4th
