Wendy Linebrink-Allison runs the state’s hot and warm lines. She says more people call and text in when suicide is making headlines.
New Mexicans have a few options if they want somebody to talk to. There’s the Warmline, created to help people who are feeling upset early on so they might not need a crisis hotline later.
The local Crisis Line is available 24 hours a day, every day in case those feelings become too overwhelming.
